MDaemon version 26 is here, with improvements to web conferencing, plus Single Sign-on for MDaemon Webmail, and more!
New Features for MDaemon 26
Single Sign-on for MDaemon Webmail
MDaemon Webmail now supports Single Sign-on using OpenID Connect (OIDC).
Instead of signing in to Webmail with their MDaemon email address and password, users can use the Sign in with SSO button to sign in to an OIDC identity provider. MDaemon Webmail will then sign them in to the MDaemon account associated with their identity provider account.
Note: Requires app setup via your identity provider’s management interface. Please see the MDaemon release notes for more information.

Web Conferencing Improvements – Record, Transfer Files & More!
MDaemon’s web conferencing feature has been improved significantly:
- Web conferences can now be recorded
- The web conferencing feature now supports file sharing among meeting attendees
- Join links are now created for external users when they are invited to a conference
Rejected Inbound Messages Report
To help administrators more easily troubleshoot email delivery issues, a Rejected Inbound messages report has been added to MDaemon Remote Administration. This report provides a graphical listing of all messages that were rejected within a designated time frame, along with the reason each was rejected (spam, virus, over quota, RFC non-compliance, and more).

Statistics Log Search
We’ve added a sortable and searchable page for the MDaemon Statistics log. This allows administrators to search the Statistics logs for inbound and/or outbound sessions based on date or date range, message delivery result (accepted, quarantined, rejected), reject/quarantine reason (spam, virus, SPF rejected, etc.), sender, recipient, and subject.

Other Improvements
MDaemon
• Content Filter - Added restricted attachment exclusions by sender and recipient
• MDMigrator - Added search filter to mailbox selection page to filter by name or email address
• LetsEncrypt - Allow ECDSA certificates to be used in production
• Trusted Hosts - Renamed the "Trusted Hosts" dialog to "Trusted Domains". The values here are compared to the domain in MAIL FROM commands, not the FQDN in HELO/EHLO commands. Use with care, as trusted domains can bypass various security features.
MDaemon Webmail
• Pro theme - Added the ability to set the nickname of a favorited folder
For a complete list of new features and updates, please see the MDaemon release notes.
